Iyam El Lira is an Oriental band founded in 2014 between the alleyways of the old souks in Byblos. The band came together with a magnetic passion for old oriental music (Fairouz, Ziad El Rahbani, Zaki Nassif and more) and a determination to innovate around it and keep it alive.

The band came into sight when various covers of both Arabic and Oriental-esque Western songs went viral on social media, appealing to the audiences of all generations with the way the songs were transformed, however staying true to their authentic sound.

With a fun take on coordinated fashion, Iyam El Lira has since performed in various festivals, venues and events across the region and beyond, such as the Festival Libanais in Canada, Bkassin Festival and Ehmej festival in Lebanon, as well as in KSA, Greece, Jordan and Qatar.

Iyam El Lira are currently working on expanding their platform and writing original music.
